We live in a globalization era and due to this whole world turn into a global village. So, nowadays, there is no barrier between the whole world to move and to do business. A certain segment of people thinks that developing countries attract the citizen of developing countries to move and settle there. However, others believe that, if people migrate to another nation then it is their own decision. According to my point of view, human being changes their location for their own benefits and no one can force them.

First and foremost reason is a better standard of living. Most of the qualified people who live in poor countries want a better lifestyle which they find in rich nations so that they move there for their better future. Furthermore, some professions such as engineering, IT jobs and doctors do not get placement in developing the area so they proceed to the developed state for better placement. As a result of it, they achieve a handsome salary in rich countries. Thus, mankind compares nations with their requirements from which they find suitable for them.

Apart from that, the developed nation does not only allowed educated people to live there. In fact, they also accept the students, families as well as minors. So it depends on human being where they want to live. For instance, people of India moved to developed countries such as the U.S.A, Canada for education, job, better environment, high lifestyle as well as a better future. However, research finds that after getting knowledge from the non-native university they come back in their domestic nation and serve for the country.

To conclude, movement in one place to another is a natural process. It is well said that change is a law of nature’ so that people change their location for various benefits such as better status good salary, secure future and so on.

The so-called ‘brain drain’ from poor to rich countries is now robbing poorer countries of essential personnel like doctors, nurses, engineers, and the trend is set to continue, if not to get worse.

Some people say this movement of people around the world is not a new phenomenon. Migrant workers have always been attracted by the wider choice of employment and greater opportunity in major cities in their own countries and abroad. Recently, as the technological age has advanced and as richer countries find themselves with not enough workers to feed their development, they have had to run to other parts of the world to find the necessary manpower. Many richer European
countries, for example, are now trying to attract skilled IT workers from my home country India by offering higher salaries than they could hope to earn at home. With the globalization of the world economy, many people feel that the process cannot be stopped.

Others, myself included, are of the opinion that measures should be taken to address the problem, by compensating poorer countries financially for the loss of investment in the people they have trained, like doctors and nurses. Admittedly, this may be cumbersome to administer, but an attempt could be made to get it off the ground.
Another step, which in part has already begun to happen, is to use the forces of globalization itself. Western countries could encourage people to stay in their own countries by direct investment in projects like computer factories or by sending patients abroad for treatment, as is already happening.

It is obviously difficult to restrict the movement of people around the world and it is probably foolish to try to stop it, but attempts should be made to redress the imbalance.
