Polluted City IELTS Speaking Cue Card IELTS EXAM

Polluted City IELTS speaking cue card with the answer

Well, the population of the world is growing day by day, and every person wants their own vehicle 🚗. As a result, pollution is also increasing.

Today, I would like to talk about a polluted city. I want to discuss Ludhiana, which is one of the biggest cities in Punjab, known for being the most polluted 🏭.

Ludhiana experiences a significant rush of vehicles on its roads, leading to an increase in pollution day by day, not just in cities but also in villages 🌳🚜. Vehicles create harmful air pollution, which leads to health problems among people 😷.

The need of the time is to implement some laws to control the pollution problems 📜. The government should follow an odd and even formula for vehicles.

This means that vehicles with odd numbers would be kept at home one day, and vehicles with even numbers on another day 🚦.

This strategy would help in controlling both pollution and traffic problems 🚶‍♂️🚴‍♀️. People who keep their vehicles at home could use public transport as an alternative 🚌.

I just want to say that everyone should help to reduce pollution and follow this odd and even law 🌍. If pollution is not controlled, then life will be in a dangerous zone ⚠️.
