Every person has to make decisions from time to time. A good decision requires both

head and heart. Decision-makers need to ask themselves whether that decision makes

sense, and also whether it feels right. A good decision requires a good insight into what all the outcomes of that decision could be.

Question. How can people improve their decision-making skills?

With experience, the decision-making skills automatically improve.

Computers can change the way people make decisions, as now through computers,

people can post their dilemmas in many forums and take advise from other people who

have faced similar situations.

Question: Do parents in your country allow their children to make important decisions about the future?

No, parents in India generally like to make important decisions about the future of their

children. They like to have their say when their child has to choose his future career.

Question: Do you think that parents should make important decisions for their children?

I think parents should have a healthy discussion with their child when he has to make a

decision, and then let the child have the final say.
