Talk about a quiet place that you want to visit again and again
Thanks for giving me such an interesting topic. There are lots of places I visit. While some are famous due to history, other famous due to construction or customs. Some of them are my favorite places because of many reasons like history, construction, customs. But today I have asked to speak about a quiet place that I want to visit again and again. Without any doubt, I would say the name of McLeod Ganj in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh, India.
Its second name as “Little Lhasa” or “Dhasa”. McLeod Ganj has an average elevation of 2,082 meters. It is situated on the Dhauladhar Range, whose highest peak, “Hanumaan ka tibba” at about 5,639 meters, lies just behind it. The famous towns near McLeod Ganj include Dharamshala, Palampur, Kangra, Sidhibhai, Tatwani and Machherial. There are lots of places that you should visit for once. But you should go to Palampur which is really a beautiful place.
The Tibet Museum, the Dalai Lama Temple, The Dharamshala International Film Festival. The museum displays over 30,000 photographs. Visitors are also encouraged to watch a documentary, showing the journey of Tibetan refugees into exile across the Himalayas. I went to McLeod Ganj two times with my family and friends. And I would like to visit this place again and again.
