Talk about successful businessman in India

Thanks for giving me such an interesting topic. In my country, there are many people who became successful businessmen with their hard work. They became the role model for many other young ones who want to become a business icon. They set an example in front of the people of the world that hard work never gets waste.

Today I would like to talk about the business icon Dhirubhai Ambani who was a renowned personality in India because he had died a few years ago. He was an Indian business tycoon, who founded reliance industries in Bombay, with his cousin. He a[[eared in top 50 businessmen in Asia. Ambani brothers took Reliance Industries public in 1977 and by 2002. In 2016, he honored posthumously with the Padma Bhushan which was India’s second highest civilian honor of his contributions in trade and Industry.

The first office of the Reliance Commercial Corporation set up at the Narinatha street in the Masjid Bander. It was a room with a telephone, table and three chairs. During this period, Ambani and his family stayed in two bed-room apartment at Mumbai. In 1965, Dhirubhai Ambani ended his partnership with his cousin and started on their own. It is believed that both have different temperaments. While Damani his cousin was a cautious trader and didn’t believe in building yarn inventories, Ambani was a known risk-taker and believed in building inventories to increase profit.

On 6 July 2002, Ambani died due to major stroke which was his second stroke. And then the prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee said on his death that “The country has lost iconic proof of what an ordinary Indian fired by the spirit of enterprise and driven by determination can achieve in his own lifetime.”
